We begin this effort with our eyes on November 2012.  We believe our nation could elect President Romney if progressives fail to organize.   

Thus, in the 2012 cycle, we will raise the progressive voice that was so essential in the 2008 campaign.

Many of us have substantial concerns and feel a need to find effective ways to express those concerns, and still we recognize how important it is that President Obama is elected to another four year term.

We will work hard in this race and ask that the President remember and respect our efforts in 2013 and beyond.
